Data Centers

Another reason why servers may seem ambiguous is because they are not always seen out in the open in your typical workplace or school setting. When we think of major tech companies, such as Google for instance, we don't often think about where all the computers are that hold their actual data. This is because often, all the servers that host this data for major companies are placed in data centers, not actually within the company headquarters. Lucky enough, Google has allowed us to take a look inside one of their centers. (Well, what they want us to see anyways ;) )
