Homework 2

To prepare for next week's in class project, I wan't you to become familiar with interacting your computer's Terminal.. So many of us are used to working with a GUI, so it is important to get started working within a command line interface. To do so, requires a bit of elementary coding.

• Step 1: Create an online account with codecademy.com if you do not have one already and log in.
• Step 2: Scroll down and click on the lesson titled "Learn the Command Line".
• Step 3: Complete the lesson entitled "Navigation" and "Manipulation". You must complete these sequentially. Ignore the other lessons listed on this page. (those cost $$$).
• Step 4: In order to get credit for this assignment, take a screenshot of the top of the page with the url https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-the-command-line and send me the screenshot. You must be logged in in order to show me the progresss you've made.
